We’re hoping to make more of Tails High’s communications two-way, as we’re eager to hear from all Tails High supporters and/or cat lovers. We’re experimenting with allowing comments to our blog entries, and I’m using this short blog entry as a test to see if the comment option has been enabled. If it has, please send along comments so we can see how this is working.
And check back with our blog in the next couple of days for information about a wonderful low-cost option for cat and dog dental cleanings and extractions; a salute to two of Tails High young volunteers; plus introduction of a new weekly feature about our adoption events.
I'm Clarke; I've got a new home with my new brother, Barton
Awww…Barton was adopted! He was only at my house a short time but he was a super sweet and loving cat, liked to have driven Rapunzel crazy though. He would attack her every time she let her guard down!
It was tough not to keep Clarke in foster care forever, but at least I’ve still got his adorable sister Louise who is everyone’s BFF
Really enjoyed getting to meet fellow volunteers at the event yesterday. Proud to be part of the Tails High family!

Sorry to have missed the meeting yesterday. Would have been nice to see everyone.
However, I sent my friend Emily out to adoption events on Saturday and she took Clarke and Barton home. Crazy Barton has been shy at home but I’m hoping he’ll come out of his shell soon. Who would have guessed?
Also, just have to put in a plug for the awesome group of kitties at Petco in Annandale. The four cats there today are all really special. Aston is my favorite – just a little love; hope he finds his forever home soon.

It’s great to be able to comment! What a nice addition! Just to let everyone know that Tails High DC is thriving — now we are five (Kelley, Leslie, Kris, Mary and me). Any more DC members?
